Cape May Victorian Weekend 2014: October 10 - 13
Our family has always been a fan of the fall season in Cape May. It's one of the most beautiful times to visit. With terrific weather and typically smaller crowds it's a perfect time to get out and explore all that Cape May has to offer. For the last 38 Years, in October The Mid Atlantic Center For the Arts honors Cape May’s unique Victorian heritage by sponsoring a weekend of Victorian related activities, including: Victorian Fashion Shows, Glass Blowing Demonstrations, Brass Band Concerts, Private Home Tours, Champagne Brunch Walks, Winery Cellar Tours & Tastings, and Crafts & Antiques Shows to name just a few of the fun activities around town.
A Longfellow Family recommendation is The Emlin Physick Estate; an 18 room mansion which operates as a Victorian Historic House Museum.
